CHAPTER TEN

In March of 2021, ANIMUSICORP planned to shift subsidiary enterprise Girl Animusica to a fully automated system. Human input over composition, pre-production and sound design, among other things, was to be eschewed entirely in favor of artificial creativity in order to boost efficiency and stay on the cutting edge of music production.

Unfortunately, the initial software was ridden with a deluge of problems which unexpectedly diminished efficiency a great deal. Production was frequently aborted abruptly and output was muddled, unfinished and unsatisfactory for mass consumption. Attempts to rework the production process using alternate systems yielded more reliable results, albeit results lacking in the quality of sound and creativity of composition ANIMUSICORP customers have come to expect. After over a year of trial and error, the automated system was retired, returning Girl Animusica to its original manually-operated state.

Contained herein are the vestiges of this abandoned program, fine-tuned and structured in a fashion intended to recreate ANIMUSICORP's original vision as faithfully as possible.
